February 14, 2010 - Barcelona – Today sees the announcement of Xperia™ X10 mini and X10 mini pro, compact versions of Xperia™ X10, which will deliver powerful and application packed mobile phones into the industry. By introducing mobile phones that are both compact and clever, Sony Ericsson is challenging the norm and defining a brand new offering that combines high specification features with a version of Sony Ericsson’s powerful UX platform specifically designed for smaller devices.

Xperia™ X10 mini and X10 mini pro with slide out QWERTY keyboard offer an open and intuitive communication entertainment experience and build on the human curvature design philosophy debuted by the Sony Ericsson Xperia™ X10. Combining the Android platform with signature applications and a customisable UX platform, communication truly becomes entertainment with these new mobile phones. To enhance the experience, pick and choose from a multitude of applications at Android Market™ and co-create a mobile phone experience that is entirely unique. Users can go one step further and customise the home screen’s four corners and widgets to access the most needed applications for limitless possibilities.

The two sister mobile phones incorporate the signature application Sony Ericsson Timescape™ which brings all communication together in one place so users can see at a glance text messages, missed calls, and Facebook™ and Twitter updates, without having to open lots of different applications. The interactive music player also uses the “infinite button” to pull together all music content from the music store and YouTube™ – a smart way to search for new tracks from a favourite artist.

The X10 mini will be available in selected markets from Q2 in the colours Pearl White, Black, Pink, Lime, Red and Silver

Sony Ericsson is also introducing the Portable Stereo Speakers MS450, to deliver rich on-the-go sound and the Hi-Fi Headset MH810 with remote with superior audio and remote media and call handling.

segala2nya, mugkin saja boz..., sejauh ini blum pernah hang/lag, keyboard sy ga bs comment sy bukan yg pro

fotonya lumayanlah bagus boz, ada flashnya, tp kaya vivaz..., kalo foto object yg sedang berjalan kenceng dgn resolusi tinggi nanti agak meleok2 hasil fotona

sebagai perbandingan boz, kekurangannya:

-agak terlalu plastik kl menurut saya, kaya mainan, entah gimana daya tanggkap sinyalnya ngga sebagus lainnya (vivas misalnya),

-baterai - semua smartphone pasti cepet habis..., tp cuman ngebayangin aja kalo baterainya x10 mini/mp ini 1500mAh keatas bukannya 950..., pasti daya tahannya 2x hp touchscreen yg punya layar 3-4 inch (perbandingannya lagi2 vivas yg punya baterai 1200 aja termasuk boros, mesti tiap hari charge)...

-layarnya x10 mini ini kurang lebar untuk beberapa game android yg ada dimarket...

diluar itu sih puaz boz..., sensasinya bener2 beda..., customize krn osnya

Mengenai foto, kita biasanya hanya pakai mode auto jadi sudah lebih dari cukup. Kalo mau hasil yang bagus ya pakai kamera DSLR

weks..., saya ngga bilang punya saya putih, ane hitam bonusnya back cover merah..., yg bilang depan belakang putih si @nubiedroid tuh...

respon termasuk kategori lumayanlah.., ga cepet2 banget tp ngga lelet jg

timescape katanya masih bermasalah di donut (ROM 1.6)

ane pemakaian berat bisa 1/2 hari habis (nimbuzz, gmail, gtalk active + browsing2 via 3g).., kalo pemakaian normal, telp+sms+browsing kuat seharian..., kalo mau batere lebih awet bisa pake Helix launcher + Task Killer(ini masih diperdebatkan apa iya lebih hemat baterei)

@all, buat yang gmailnya crash (X10, X10 mini, X10mp)..., ada pesan kaya gini :

The process com.google.process.gapps has stopped unexpectedly

buka gmail di komputer..., select All message, trus masukin archive..., nanti kalo mau dilihat lagi bisa lihat dari 'All Mail',

di hpnya nanti bisa juga lihat 'All Mail', tp cuma 15an email paling atas..., kalau kebawah dia keluar crash yg sama lagi (gw ngga tau apa ini masalah dari firmware ato servernya google), tp paling ngga kalo ada email bari dia kasih notifikasi dan ngga crash

tambahan, buat reset gmail accountnya ngga usah di reset..., dari settings->applications, clear cache gmail, google apps dan google storagenya

guys.. mini kita bisa nga sih tiap kali layar gelap itu ngak langsung keylock? gue set layar nya mati 15sec, tapi risih juga tiap kali harus unlock mulu.. hehhee..

ada di android market, namanya screen on..., tinggal pilih mana aplikasi yg dibuat on (on disini brightnessnya berkurang kaya mau masuk lock screen), nanti bikin terangnya tinggal di touch screennya

ane juga lagi cari2 ScreenModeWidget..., kali2 aja udah ada yg punya..., biar unlocknya ngga pake key tapi di slide kaya iphone...

Kemaren baru cobain dummynya X10mini pro di WTC surabaya. Ternyata kekhawatiran selama ini masalah ketidak nyamanan pakai qwerty ukuran kecil tidak terbukti. Jadi makin ngiler aja..hehehe...
Di Surabaya X10Mini dibanderol 2,850 jt and yg pro 3,345jt.
Harus bersabar nungguin Oktober nich biar dapet yg Android 2.1..

yup bluetoothnya bermasalah, bisa diatasi dengan bluetooth apps yg dimarket..., tetep gw blon bisa sincron dengan blackberry, kalo kirim bisa, terima belum bisa

software rata2 cocok, mungkin game ada beberapa yg ga cocok, mesti pake versi yg lite
