February 14, 2010 - Barcelona – Today sees the announcement of Xperia™ X10 mini and X10 mini pro, compact versions of Xperia™ X10, which will deliver powerful and application packed mobile phones into the industry. By introducing mobile phones that are both compact and clever, Sony Ericsson is challenging the norm and defining a brand new offering that combines high specification features with a version of Sony Ericsson’s powerful UX platform specifically designed for smaller devices.

Xperia™ X10 mini and X10 mini pro with slide out QWERTY keyboard offer an open and intuitive communication entertainment experience and build on the human curvature design philosophy debuted by the Sony Ericsson Xperia™ X10. Combining the Android platform with signature applications and a customisable UX platform, communication truly becomes entertainment with these new mobile phones. To enhance the experience, pick and choose from a multitude of applications at Android Market™ and co-create a mobile phone experience that is entirely unique. Users can go one step further and customise the home screen’s four corners and widgets to access the most needed applications for limitless possibilities.

The two sister mobile phones incorporate the signature application Sony Ericsson Timescape™ which brings all communication together in one place so users can see at a glance text messages, missed calls, and Facebook™ and Twitter updates, without having to open lots of different applications. The interactive music player also uses the “infinite button” to pull together all music content from the music store and YouTube™ – a smart way to search for new tracks from a favourite artist.

The X10 mini will be available in selected markets from Q2 in the colours Pearl White, Black, Pink, Lime, Red and Silver

The X10 mini pro will be available in selected markets from Q2 in the colours Black and Red.

Sony Ericsson is also introducing the Portable Stereo Speakers MS450, to deliver rich on-the-go sound and the Hi-Fi Headset MH810 with remote with superior audio and remote media and call handling.

Klo yg ini msh masuk akal, meskipun krg "bener" jg, mengorbankan user2 minoritas.
Gimana2 nama SE dulu kan juga dibangun oleh kaum minoritas yg pada saat itu bosan dgn merk2 yg sdh ada (tmsk gw yg saat itu mengganti 3660 dgn T310, karena Symbian pakenya ribet) krn mgkn mereka have faith dgn produk join-pentur an Sony dgn Ericsson ini. Eh.. masa2 kek gini malah SE mau enaknya doank.

Mmg mayoritas penghuni thread SE ini berdomisili di kota2 gede, tp kan ttp, ada member2 yg lumayan aktif kek bro Baba& Silver, yg tinggalnya diluar p. Jawa. Mrk kan jg punya hak yg sama utk menikmati after sales SE spt kita2 (Wong mereka ya beli produk2 SE bayarnya FULL, iya kalao cmn 1/2 HARGA, itu lumrah klo dapet layanan servisnya "Kudu kirim jakarta".

Ntar dah, liat performa SE sisa 2 kuartal tahun ini bagemana, moga2 cepet keluar dari krisis ini dah.

Iya bro, tp ada tempat yg gak kalah murahnya, namanya G-shop, lokasinya di lt. dasar ujung, dekat pojokan, Surya Jaya ya biasa ambil dari sana, sayang pelayanannya kek terminal, aku sering dicuekin.

2 SE terakhir ku, Naite& yg skrg aku pake T715 beli di SESC TIN yg galeri lt. dasar lgs. Agak mahal hampir 100an ribu sih, tp mbak nya ramah2 ^^

bukannya SE Center yg punya distributor? Contoh yg di Mal Kelapa Gading punya Selular Shop. Contoh lagi LG di Mal Taman Anggrek tutup karena SS bukan main distributor LG lagi. Asumsi pegawai dipecat atau dipindah ke cabang lain

Gw kan ngalamin masalah dengan MMS di X10 gw, yaitu gak bisa nerima MMS (cuma nerima notifikasinya tapi isinya ga bisa di-download), kalau ngirim MMS sih oke-oke aja.
Hal ini dialami bukan sama gw aja tapi banyak sekali pengguna X10, di luar ataupun di dalam Indonesia.

Karena penasaran gw barusan nge test sama bro chen71281.
Gw kirim MMS dari X10 - berupa photo yang dijepret sama kameranya X10 - ke X10 Mini nya bro chen71281.
Hasilnya adalah si X10 Mini berhasil menerima MMS berisi photo dari X10 "gede".
Kemudian si Mini mengirim MMS balik ke si "gede" dan si "gede" menerima notifikasinya dan ketika si "gede" mendownload isinya, dengan bangga layarnya mempersembahkan tulisan yang dari awal selalu muncul ketika hal yang sama dilakukan: "Download is unsuccessful."

Kesimpulan: kalau banyak make atau perlu MMS jangan beli X10 yang gede, tapi belilah si X10 Mini yang katanya sih kecil-kecil cabe rawit.

Hmmm... ganti gak ya?

Lagian layar X10 mini bg org yg udah kebiasaan pake X10 "gede" bakal sesek banget klo di mata.

Udah... settingannya udah pake macem2, dari provider, dari SE, auto setting, cek manual, dan lain2. Sami mawon.
Bukan cuma gw kok yang ngalamin, di luar juga banyak yang bernasib sama. Di Indonesia juga kayanya sama, cuma pada gak ngeh aja karena jarang MMS-an kayanya.

SE bakal cabut dari indo?hmm.. klo pun iya, pasti masih beberapa tahun lagi, kaga bakal dalam 1-2 tahun ini.. kita nikmatin aja yang ada dulu, toh klo ngikutin ramalan gitu, 2012 kan uda tamat semua, jadi SE kga pernah cabut dari indo.. lol.
