gw juga hampir nggak percaya sama telinga gw juga kq...
gw nyoba dirumah sendiri sama bokap gw, bokap gw juga nggak percaya, soalnya di media massa w980 digemborkan punya kualitas audio luar biasa, tapi ternyata masih kalah sama w800....
ak nggak tau ap emg begitu, ato ni tergantung selera ato lebih buruknya lagi gw dapet produk yang kurang bagus jadi kualitas suara w980 kalah sama w800....
hpm-77 masih double earbud, kalo ada kabar soner bakal ngganti jd single ear bud gw belum pernah denger kabarnya, tapi klo sampe kejadian kan bisa nurunin kualitas soner sendiri ya??

Pendapat yang aneh. Baru kali ini gw nemu pendapat yang sangat bertentangan dengan pendapat2 yang terdapat hampir di semua review mengenai W980.
Bahkan kehebatan suara W980 sendiri sudah dibuktikan dengan diraihnya Best Audio Experience dari Test Factory serta The Best Music Phone dari EISA Award 2008.
Gw pernah mencoba W980 selama sekitar seminggu dan menurut gw kualitas suara W980 dengan menggunakan HPM-77 jauh jauh lebih bagus daripada W800 dengan HPM-70.
Kebetulan gw juga masih punya W800.
Selain itu, gw juga mencoba W980 dengan berbagai macam headet yang ada, mulai dari HPM-70, HPM-75, HPM-77 dan HBH-DS980. Sebenarnya gw juga masih ada HPM-62 dan HPM-64 tapi gak gw coba karena yakin kedua HPM terakhir itu kualitasnya jauh di bawah HPM lainnya (dan HBH).
Gw mencoba W980 dengan dan tanpa mengaktifkan fitur Clear Bass, dengan mencoba semua equalizer presetnya juga. Dan rata-rata kualitas suaranya jauh di atas rata2 hape Walkman lain (dan juga non Walkman) dari SE.
Apalagi bila Clear Bass nya diaktifkan, suaranya tambah mantap.

Memang sih selera orang beda2 tapi agak aneh juga kalo ada pendapat yang bertentangan dengan pendapat lain yang rata-rata -- sorry -- dari para pakar dalam bidangnya, maksud gw review2 di majalah/internet dan penghargaan2 di atas.

dari karyw SE centre n majlah...coz, menurut penelitian, double earbud bisa menyebabkan kerusakan pada gendang telinga, karena earbudnya terlalu dekat dengan sensor suara dalam telinga.
trus, earbudnya juga terlalu rapat sehinnga tidak da celah bagi suara lain masuk (yg in dilema si).

Yang pertama tentang earbud :
Double earbud tu tadinya gw pikir kiri dan kanan, tapi kayanya yang kamu maksud model in-ear gitu ya? Agak bingung juga maksudnya gimana....

Yang kedua tentang MegaBass :
W980 (dan juga W902) gak ada MegaBass lagi, tapi diganti sama yang namanya Clear Bass. Menurut gw sih Clear Bass ini lebih lembut dan lembih jernih dari MegaBass.
