Kalau dilihat dari gambar di atas, yang bisa gw simpulkan adalah sebagai berikut :

1. Mulai tahun 2010, OS proprietary akan dikurangi dan Open OS akan diperbanyak
2. Open OS yang akan digunakan ada 3 : Windows Mobile, Android dan Symbian Foundation
3. Mulai tahun 2010 semua(?) handphone SE akan berupa touchscreen

OOT : SE akan "bertahan hidup" hanya sampai tahun 2012? Hehehe... becanda ding!

Sony Ericsson preparing Android 2.0 Smartphones

Sony Ericsson is preparing to launch Google phones running on Android 2.0 operating system (OS), according to Peter Ang, vice president of marketing, Asia Pacific at Sony Ericsson.

The Android 2.0 will have more multimedia support that the previous Android OS, Ang explained.

With regards to market rumors speculating that Sony Ericsson may reduce the number of operating systems for its handsets, Ang stated that Sony Ericsson currently will continue to roll out models supporting Symbian and Windows Mobile in addition to Android.

Sony Ericsson launched five handsets, the W995, C903, C901, T707 and W508, in the Taiwan market on May 21. The 8.1-megapixel W995 multimedia handset supports 3.5G, Wi-Fi and AGPS standards.

5 alasan kenapa henpon di atas di-cancel:
1. Logotype "Sony Ericsson" di samping layar, bukan di atas kayak biasanya. Sony Ericsson, 12 huruf dna 1 spasi, kepanjangan. Beda sama "NOKIA" di N79, masih agak mendingan lah yg itu. Sumpah, posisi yang jelek abis.
2. 3 touchkeys di bawah layar bentuknya.... gak tau napa, bikin ill-feel aja.
3. Lingkaran (LED?) di pinggir Dpad. Ini bukan seri W, gak perlu kelip-kelip. Norak.
4. Materialnya kliatan cheapo. Stylusnya.... ya sutra lah.
5. It would not sell well. Trust me.

untung di cancel, modelnya jd keliatan aneh gitu .....

tapi kok di bawah tombol "phone" ada shortcut ber-icon setting ya?? roda bergerigi itu biasa nya setting kan?
