The C905 photos can be geotagged thanks to the built-in GPS receiver. The accelerometer will allow for screen auto rotation when you go through your camera album. It's also got a TV-out port for watching your images on the TV.

The Sony Ericsson C905 is also armed with a 2.4-inch QVGA TFT display with scratch-resistant mineral glass cover. It's the first Sony Ericsson feature phone to feature Wi-Fi support - and there's even more. The Wi-Fi feature supports DLNA, which is basically a wireless media sharing protocol that runs on top of Wi-Fi. Nokia N96 has it too by the way.

The Sony Ericsson C905 Cyber-shot is somewhere in the line of 104 x 49 x 18 (or 19.5) millimetres and weighs good 136 grams. It'll be available in Copper Gold, Ice Silver & Night Black in early Q4 2008 with a bundled 2 GB Memory Stick Micro M2.

Connectivity wise, it comes in three variants, two with full support for UMTS and HSDPA for the respective regions (yes, the Americas too). The battery is good for 380 hours of standby or 9 hours of talk on GSM networks, or 360 hours of standby or 4 hours of talk on 3G networks.

Cool Stuff - Unboxed: Sony Ericsson C905

Take a look at most phone forums and you'll find a common dilemma – splash out on Sony Ericsson's 5megapixel C902, or wait for the 8megapixel C905 this winter? Well, we've just taken delivery of a prototype of the latter, so it's time for an early lens-to-lens face off.

The C905 has two big camera advantages over the C902: it has an 8MP sensor to let you blow up photos to poster size and, crucially, sports a Xenon flash (the C902 only has an LED number).

But as you can see from the comparison shot below, this all comes at a cost – it's twice as thick as its sleeker, candybar cousin. If phone looks are important to you, there really is only one choice.

On the other hand, the C905 really could easily sneak into a compact camera party when viewed from behind, and its extra girth makes it a little more comfortable to hold when taking snaps. Plus, it's a much more powerful all-rounder – it packs HSDPA, Wi-Fi and AGPS, which you can use with either Google Maps or pre-loaded Wayfinder software (we sadly couldn't test this on our prototype).

Other differences? The M2 memory card slot is on the side rather than under the battery cover, and its menu system is more refined and less cartoony than the standard Sony Ericssons UI found on the C902 (see below).

Whether or not its photo-taking prowess justifies the extra bulge in your pocket is a question we'll answer in our full review and hands-on video soon.

kayaknya si untuk hp2 cybershot SE bakalan ngeluarin cepet ky yg udah2...

Jadwal rilisnya kan bulan Oktober... tepat setahun setelah K850.

So, kita tunggu aja...

Tapi...

- Samsung S60 dengan kamera 8 MP tanpa Xenon (i8xxx lupa typenya) kayanya bakal keluar duluan...

- Nokia akan mengumumkan hape Symbian dengan kamera 8 MP di sekitar bulan September 2008 dan rilis sekitar seminggu kemudian....

yah, padahal K850 itu kan telat. C905 ikutan telat. semoga fitur dan kualitasnya ga ikutan "telat"

fitur telat gak masalah, asal harganya murah aja..

tapi setelat2 nya C905 masih lebih cepet dari sebelah kok..yg lg heboh mau keluarin hp 5Mpx
