The C905 photos can be geotagged thanks to the built-in GPS receiver. The accelerometer will allow for screen auto rotation when you go through your camera album. It's also got a TV-out port for watching your images on the TV.

The Sony Ericsson C905 is also armed with a 2.4-inch QVGA TFT display with scratch-resistant mineral glass cover. It's the first Sony Ericsson feature phone to feature Wi-Fi support - and there's even more. The Wi-Fi feature supports DLNA, which is basically a wireless media sharing protocol that runs on top of Wi-Fi. Nokia N96 has it too by the way.

The Sony Ericsson C905 Cyber-shot is somewhere in the line of 104 x 49 x 18 (or 19.5) millimetres and weighs good 136 grams. It'll be available in Copper Gold, Ice Silver & Night Black in early Q4 2008 with a bundled 2 GB Memory Stick Micro M2.

Connectivity wise, it comes in three variants, two with full support for UMTS and HSDPA for the respective regions (yes, the Americas too). The battery is good for 380 hours of standby or 9 hours of talk on GSM networks, or 360 hours of standby or 4 hours of talk on 3G networks.

Hmmm... ada yang bilang kalo harga Marmot Zinc-Five yang 5MP campuran antara Nikon-Carl Zeiss-Kodak tanpa 3G harganya 6 jutaan itu wajar... aneh gak tuh?

Maklumlah, dia kan pemilik salah satu sub-forum di sini (konon KATANYA mau beli FP, tapi ampe sekarang kagak pernah terlaksana tuh), mungkin buat dia 6jt yah murah lah, hahaha, buat gw sih kagak masuk akal harga segitu, mana kagak ada 3G pula. Gw punya duit segitu sih mendingan gw beli N82 aj dhe, harga lebih murah, kamera juga menurut gw lebih mending, plus fitur lebih lengkap pula.

yg di DA itu kayanya disambung2 pake photoshop deh bro. krn emg konsep art nya begitu kan. ^^;

klo yg beneran panorama dr hapenya, setau gue sih k700 pertama kali ada.

gue 100% yakin di t610, t630, z600 ga ada panorama soalnya gue msh sering oprek2 z600. seinget gue, kamera t610 dan z600 itu sama persis, t630 jg 99% sama persis, kecuali ttg fitur tambahan di t630: dikasih interpolasi ke VGA. ~_~ td cek situsnya MR jg, ada ulasan ttg panorama itu pertama kali di k700 bro.

klo sebelum2nya sih ga tau, tp optional cam nya t310 sih dl ga ada ya.

balik ke masalah C905 lagi, ada brapa hal yg pgn gw tanyakan setelah baca2 di esato :

1. apa bener rilisnya tanggal 7 agustus? bentar lagi donk..
2. apa bener kameranya make sensor CCD..? wow
3. ada fitur panorama juga kan..?

kalau pun ga ada panorama, tinggal pake ini AutoStich. Keren abis.

1. Info dari mana tuh bro? Kalo beneran surprise banget deh. Setahu gw sih Oktober tuh.
2. Ini lebih aneh lagi. Apa bisa SE mengganti sensor ke CCD trus rilisnya dipercepat? Yang ada juga kalo ganti hardware malah jadwal rilis bisa mundur. Tahu tuh di esato juga udah mulai pada aneh2 aja orang2...
3. Fitur panorama? Hmmm... fitur paling "canggih" di sebelah sana itu? Gak "kecanggihan" tuh buat SE?

Reviews and Tests - Sony Ericsson C905: Updated Firmware and Camera

Below you will find a variety of photo samples acquired with the final version of the C905 camera, running the latest firmware available. Earlier photo samples published on other sites no longer correspond to the actual state of things. The final version of C905 heading for shop shelves has a camera that... too many words, just have a look at the photos.

Back in the days of K750i Sony Ericsson retained the position of a very strong player on the cameraphone market; the company’s current claim is that of the leader in the segment of 8 Mp handsets. The new Cyber-shot flagship model, C905, produces the impression of a very balanced and promising product with every chance to improve the corporation’s financial situation. No other products sporting similar specifications are currently available or likely to appear in the targeted price range 500-570 euros. The potential bestseller is to appear in October (while the closest competitor, - Samsung i8510, - will become available a month earlier yet at a higher price falling between 660-720 euros.

The gossip alleging the use of a same camera unit both in C905 and i8510 (or, in some interpretations, a downgraded version of the i8510 camera is claimed to be used in C905) is nothing but idle talk officially denounced by Sony Ericsson representatives, leaving no ground for further speculations. SE are going to implement a different and better camera which, combined with the latest firmware available, is capable of taking shots challenging the quality of pictures acquired with a compact digital camera. As long as working samples of i8510 are unavailable in Russia, we can’t stage a real-life test, so the only thing we’re left with are the two devices’ specification sheets, and C905 scores a clear win ‘on the paper’.

The initial samples of i8510 which have fallen in the hands of certain telecom experts appear to be completely defunct (a phone won’t boot up after powering on) so the recently published judgments on camera quality are far on the speculative side and hardly credible, - even some of the Samsung officials disturbed by the rumors aired their disapproval about the circulating allegations. Once we get a working sample of Samsung i8510, a thorough comparison with the handset by Sony Ericsson will be published. It should be kept in mind that the only thing we would really see as a reasonable point for comparison is the camera, the rest of features hardly making a good matter for comparisons – C905 is a casual phone while i8510 is a smartphone, hence the big difference.

As seen from the samples, the photo quality is perfect; the competitors can do nothing but be jealous of Sony Ericsson. Unfortunately the quality of video remains just as unimpressive as it used to in multiple earlier models; for instance, K750i suffered from this flaw yet it didn’t prevent the handset from becoming a bestseller. C905 sports exceptionally high chances of taking a top position in the charts. The model looks extremely interesting and is, of course, a very actual addition to the cell phone market. A review of the upcoming C905 gadget will be available shortly, disclosing all the secrets of the powerful and versatile SE product which, if the release date doesn’t get shifted because of an inconvenience, will enter retail sale in October.
