The new G700 and G900 phones are designed to give back time. They place personal organiser features and easy finger-touch control within familiar form factors.

Barcelona, Spain – 10th February 2008 – Sony Ericsson today launched a new generation of phone: Touchscreen organisers with a broad appeal. The G700 and G900 phones are essential tools designed to organise the lives of all those with busy schedules to juggle, both at home and at work.

Calendar is King

Access your calendar, reach family and friends and scribble and save your notes on your phone. Weks..., fokusnya bisa dipindah2 gitu yee? Keren juga, nunggu hasil kameranya ah, moga2 nggak ngecewain.

Sepertinya kalo dipikir2 dan dicermatin.
G900 lebih difokuskan ke finger touch screen.
Stylus touch screem cuman tambahan bagi yang tidak biasa.

Karena P1i sepertinya berusaha condong ke finger touch screen.
Cuman karena layarnya agak sedikit lebar, mungkin banyak org yang memberi masukan ke SE.
Ini hanya opini aku saja.

ngak gitu lah. P1 tu touchscreen biasa. G900 tu kayak W960, emang di design bisa disentuh dengan jari. G900 seperti yg dibilang SE, adalah organizer phone, yang sebenarnya juga bisa dilakukan oleh M600

Touchscreen W960 beda gitu dengan P1? P1 dan M600 juga W950 kan bisa jg pakai jari, tapi memang ga nyaman. Kalau W960 nyaman?

Kalo menurut gw touchscreen hape SE mengalami perubahan trend sejak W960.
W960 adalah hape touchscreen pertama dari SE yang layarnya berupa "flushed screen", di mana bagian layar itu sama rata dengan body hapenya dan layarnya dilapisi kaca sehingga jadi keras dan nyaman untuk disentuh dengan tangan.
Beda dengan generasi P1 dan sebelumnya yang layarnya agak menjorok ke dalam sekitar 1-2 mm dari permukaan depan body hape, layarnya agak lembek dan agak sulit kalau disentuh dengan tangan.
Untuk interface W960 memang belum sepenuhnya mendukung sentuhan tangan, lebih difokuskan pada Walkman Playernya saja, sementara UI lainnya mirip dengan generasi P1 ke bawah, masih sangat tergantung stylus.
Untuk generasi berikutnya setelah W960 nanti, dimulai dari G700/G900, UI nya disesuaikan sedemikian rupa agar sentuhan tangan lebih dominan.
Dan "puncak"-nya, UIQ 3.3 nanti (yang akan diterapkan ke Paris) sudah bisa full sentuhan tangan, meskipun stylus masih disertakan sebagai alternatif.

Btw yang paling menarik bagiku dari G900 fitur sticky notenya.

Di forum GSM mana? Ampun dheeee, hp belom keluar aj udah diadu2, cyape dheee, sama kayak K850 belom keluar dulu, udah maen diadu aja ama N95.

Makin lama diliat G900 makin menggiurkan nih, moga2 pas keluar nggak ada bug aneh2 kayak our beloved 'flagship phone'.

gpp sih pake jari. gw pake M600 juga kadang pake jari. ga ada softkeys sih. cuman yah serem juga karena emg ga didesign buat ditekan pake jari. yah sering2 dilap aja pake kain lap kacamata. sidik jari yg nempel susah ilang soalnya yg bikin gw tertarik sih sticky notesnya (gw sering pake. sayang aja ga qwerty), Wifi yang udah b/g, dan kameranya tentunya semoga harganya terjangkau. hehehe

G900 vs N82??? Salah segmen.

Mungkin maksudnya sama2 5 MP. G900 ga pakai xenon ya? Tapi touchscreen keren oiy.. pakai jari aja

For Lando. untuk ngehilangin sidik jarinya, pakai kain kecil yang khusus untuk screen protector punya.

For White eye: seperti yng dikatakan cybershot, yang diadu camera 5 MPnya.
Terus yg diadu foto reveiw dengan foto preview, ya udah jelas G 900 kalah, wong masih prototype.

For Cybershot, yap itu lah salah satu daya magnetiknya G 900.
