Beberapa halaman terakhir dari thread sebelumnya : Sony Ericsson Portfolio for 2008 - Part 2 -- yang sudah mencapai 30 halaman -- sudah dipenuhi dengan rumor untuk handphone2 yang akan dirilis tahun depan, yaitu tahun 2009.

Di tahun 2008 ini, masih akan ada 1 kali announcement lagi, yaitu di minggu pertama bulan November (tanggal pasti belum ada), tapi hampir bisa dipastikan bahwa yang akan diumumkan adalah untuk dirilis tahun 2009.

Segera hadir : Rumor untuk handphone2 di tahun 2009, termasuk Walkman Flagship, di mana tahun 2009 dicanangkan sebagai Tahun Walkman oleh Sony Ericsson.

As it is, Sony Ericsson started work on one Android-based handset not too long ago, and that’s it. Sony Ericsson’s press release even stated that they can now “confirm its intention to develop a handset based on the Android platform”. Did you get that? Intention. Last time I checked, intention doesn’t mean that you can be ready with a product based on a platform that is new to the manufacturer. Heck, it wouldn’t even be possible if we were talking OSE, which is also known as Sony Ericsson’s proprietary operating system for feature phones!

I basically wanted to make it loud and clear that the rumour is false, but now we’re at it, I guess we could have a look at some facts about Sony Ericsson’s Android venture:

• The first Android-based handset will be a high-end product.

• The Android platform won’t be exclusive to high-end products, and will also be used in mass-market products in the future.

• Android-based products won’t be niche products, and Sony Ericsson will continue developing phones based on Symbian and Windows Mobile.

• As of now, there are no specific announcement or release plans for any Android-based product by Sony Ericsson. It is simply too early for anything specific.

Kate - latest Cyber-shot phone from Sony Ericsson, with the model name C510. In my opinion, C510 is not the best choice of model name for Kate (becouse it sounds similar to the low-end K510), but it’s the final name. The C510 should be available in just a month or two. Smile shutter mah, teknologi yang baru ( yah gak baru2 amat sih ) ditemukan oleh sony buat digital compactnya.

Smile shutter itu cara kerjanya begini.
Terkadang kalau org smile, stand still camera, rada susuah ngedaptin ekspresi seseorang sebenarnya ( mulai dari brightness hingga colour tonenya ) saat smile.

Smile shutter cara kerjanya gini. Putar ke mode smile shutter. Bidik yang mau diphoto. Nah sasaran hanya perlu ketawa saja, langsung otomatis foto akan menembak, tanpa perlu menekan tombol jepret lagi,

Intinya
Mode smile shutter, smile, clap.

Tapi saya rasa, resolusi 8.1 mpix keatas sepertinya udah gak terlalu penting buat kamera HP, coz' (sekali lagi menurut saya), sebenernya resolusi 3.2 mpix aja udah cukup besar klo cmn buat ditampilin di layar komputer (bahkan ada bbrp org yg cmn di-view dr layar 2" HPnya doank).

kalo menurut gw sih...orang beli hape camera beresolusi besar karena :
1. Orang lebih sering bawa hape ketimbang cam dig
(in 20th century, hp already be a part of our life, we cant separate it)

2. Bentuk hape lebih kecil dari camdign jadi menghemat ruang di kantong qta kalo bawa hape..

3. Hape memuat semua teknologi alat yang ada (radio, hp, camera vid rec, dll). Beda sama cam dig yang cuma camera doang...
