Tentang UIQ, rumornya masih akan ada UIQ 4. Tapi belum jelas juga sih, soalnya rumor tentang Xperia UIQ itu munculnya udah agak lama juga. Bisa aja dengan perkembangan baru malah di-cancel atau diganti dengan dengan OS baru sama sekali. Let's see then.

Trus tentang "Walkman Year", memang sempat di-sebut2 di SEMC Blog. Memang sekarang baru ada sedikit type Walkman yang udah muncul sebagai rumor, tapi kan perjalanan untuk tahun 2009 masih panjang bro, belum muncul aja kali, Ntar juga bakal ada dengan sendirinya kok.

Lagipula, seri Walkman kan biasanya menggunakan design seri lainnya alias kembaran atau copy paste.

Sebagai contoh (yang masih baru) : C902 --> W902. Sejak dari K750/W800 strategy copy paste ini masih dilanjutkan kok, bahkan sampai sekarang. Bahkan -- lagi -- sampai announcement terakhir di tahun 2008 ini.

6 November 2008 : Announcement terakhir untuk tahun 2008 --> Walkman Announcement.

Handphone yang akan diumumkan : baru ketahuan 1 saja, yaitu W705.
Dan gak perlu dijelaskan lebih jauh lagi bahwa W705 ini adalah copy paste dari G705.

Dan, sesuai dengan tema announcement di atas, masih ada kemungkinan bukan hanya W705 yang akan diumumkan.

Accessories yang akan diumumkan : baru ketahuan 1 juga, yaitu Wireless Portable Speaker MBS-900.

5 tahun lalu kamera hp = VGA sewaktu kamera digital > 2MP
prosesor X1 = 500an Mhz (sori kalo salah) sama kayak pentium 3 jebot..
sekarang kameranya C905= 8 mp, gak beda jauh sama kamera digital kebanyakan.

Satu lagi code name muncul : Britanny.

Brittany adalah Walkman clamshell baru yang merupakan penerus W380 dengan tambahan external screen (ukuran kecil) dan 3 tombol musik di bagian luarnya.

Spesifikasi : layar 240×320 pixel, Kamera 3.2 Megapixel, Walkman Player 3.0.

Selain sebagai penerus W380, Brittany juga merupakan versi murah dari W980 karena design bagian dalamnya hampir sama dengan W980.

Selain Britanny, akan ada satu handphone Walkman baru lagi yaitu W715.
Kemungkinan besar ini adalah penerus W705.

Berkaitan dengan rencana SE memproduksi handphone dengan kamera 12-20 MP, kelihatannya di tahun 2009 akan segera terwujud untuk 12 MP dengan diumumkannya CMOS Exmor sensor 12 MP terbaru oleh Sony.
