Bunch of Nokias spotted - N79, N85, 5800, 6260

Today a lot of unannounced Nokia handsets leaked on a Flickr account. The images are not of best quality but still they are far better than the blurry snapshots we usually get with rumors like this. All the devices seem legit and not surprisingly the Flickr account of the owner of these images has already been deleted.
But let's not waste any more time and see today's catch. Few details are known and most are based on the images themselves.

Nokia N79

Nokia N78 has just started shipping and there's already a successor. The Nokia N79 is 3G-enabled and runs on the Symbian S60 UI as most of the other devices in this article. The design is rather unassuming but somehow looks a bit like the Nokia N82. Did you spot it's got a 5 megapixel camera on it?

Nokia N85

The Nokia N85 is again a Symbian smartphone. It has a 5 megapixel auto focus camera, Carl-Zeiss optics and features a dual-sliding form factor much like the Nokia N95.
The Nokia N85 is 3G-enabled too and follows the latest N-series design, which started with the Nokia N81 and which we are hardly digging. So we are guessing - Navi wheel, anyone?

Nokia 5800 XpressMedia (a.k.a. Nokia Tube)

The Nokia Tube is finally demystified. Called Nokia 5800 XpressMedia, this highly exciting full Touch UI handset is obviously spawning a lineup of its own. Armed with something that looks like a 3 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, the Nokia 5800 will obviously not be at the top of this series. A videocalls camera is also nowhere to be seen - no 3G?
We were so impressed with the Nokia Touch UI demos that we just can't wait to see it in person. And nope, you are not going to hear us say "iPhone 3G killer". Oops, there we said it.

Nokia 6260

The last of today's crop is the Nokia 6260. A slider, yes, and a pretty one, we may add. Is it just us or it looks a lot like the Nokia 6220 classic?
One thing's for sure - the Nokia 6260 certainly got our attention with it 5 megapixel camera. But what's with that name - Nokia already have a handset dubbed as Nokia 6260?

Bukan murni "touch" with your skin, hehe..

Iphone sangat fenomenal di USA, cepat terjualnya, karena emang steve jobs jago marketing strateginya,,hehe..

Jadi, banyak yang kebakaran jenggot, atau hanya pengen ikut trend HP touch..
Ke depan mungkin HP akan ke arah touch terus, karena katanya lebih nature interface dengan manusia. Karena benar2 sentuhan dengan kulit kita..

Sekali lagi, hanya membaca...

wah kalo gitu blm bisa diposisikan sepenuhnya sebaga "Iphone killer" donk nokia tube ini.

Bknnya gagal... Hanya peminatnya kurang dan harga utk hp touchscreen nya lumayan diatas rata2

Iya biasanya touchscreen nokia harganya selangit...moga2 yg ini bisa 'terjangkau'

Sama.. Gw juga pake 7710 dulu dan ya mmg lambat utk f/w awal tp setelah ada f/w selanjutnya sdh ada perubahan yg berarti..

klo gw bilang sih 5800 bakalan lumayan laku ga kaya 7710 ato 6708....

Harusnya seh Nokia Tubenya ini lebih better dari Nokia touchscreen yang dulu-dulu baik yg S70 maupun yg UIQ, karena Nokia Tube ini menggunakan S60 yang bener-bener diperhatikan perkembangannya..

eh, masa di forum sebelah n79 udah ada harganya, tapi murah cuma 2,9. jangan2 speknya berbeda nih....

Nokia N85 and N79 leak today(25/08/08), official tomorrow

The two new Nseries members – Nokia N79 and Nokia N85 made their debut a day earlier than expected. Photos of the two devices and some more of their specifications appeared online today. They will both run the Symbian OS with S60 UI and will come with the Feature Pack 2 preinstalled.

Nokia N85 will have dedicated game keys and support for N-gage platform for a great gaming experience. The handset will pack an exiting 2.6” 16M AMOLED display, which will be the largest of its kind among GSM phones. In addition the N85 will feature a 5 megapixel camera, WLAN and 3G with HSDPA support. A microSD card slot will allow expanding the built-in memory. The built-in GPS will allow geo-tagging of the photos taken with the camera.

The Nokia N79 is supposed to be a fashion-oriented handset with replaceable back covers. It will also come with a 5 megapixel camera, which will be complemented by a dual LED flash and a protective cover. Among the other features are Wi-Fi, GPS and 3G as well as a microSD card slot. A 4GB card is expected to come in the retail package.

Both the Nokia N79 and Nokia N85 will be available as early as next month but their retail price is yet unknown. Stay tuned for the official announcement at 10:00 CET tomorrow.

hmmm bagus2 tp paling keren 5800.pasti gw yakin bgt sekali nya masuk harga di atas 4 juta.

Kalo menurut gw, Nokia sudah harus melepaskan 5800 ke pasaran karena Hp Google a.k.a HTC Dream sdh ada dan siap launch
