ot long after we’ve heard that the Motorola Shadow might become the Google Nexus Two, Motorola’s CEO Sanjay Jha has now confirmed they’re working on a Google phone – which should be part of those 20 to 30 Android handsets that the company will reportedly launch this year.

According to The Street, the Motorola Google phone “will be sold directly to consumers”, just like the Nexus One, so there are considerable chances for it to be the Nexus Two.

Sanjay Jha doesn’t give us further details, so we don’t know when the Moto Google phone will be announced, or if it’s the Motorola Shadow (seen below) or a different device.

Motorola has also announced its Q4 2009 results, posting a net earning of $142 million. The company shipped 12 million mobile phones in the quarter – 2 million of them were Android smartphones (the Droid / Milestone and the Cliq / Dext).

Kelihatannya malah lebih mirip Milestone/ Droid, ketimbang nexus one

Masing merk ada ciri khas design. Seperti Nexus One mirip dengan handphone HTC pada umumnya.

Bukan USB Port tapi Micro USB Port yang sudah di mulai oleh Motorola dan sudah disepakati oleh beberapa merk ternama seperti Nokia, Samsung, LG dan merk lainnya sebagai standard international charger port.

Oh kirain bisa sebagai wadah transfer data dari flasdisk 1 ke flasdisk 2..

TI OMAP 3630 ini mksdnya yg speed 600Mhz atau yg 720Mhz?? Kenapa nggak SnapDragon aja yah biar lbh manteb?

Snapdragon tidak menjamin lebih cepat dibandingkan dengan yang tidak pakai Snapdragon walaupun menggunakan Processor 1 Ghz. Lihat aja bukti dilapangan. Toshiba TG01 yang menggunakan Snapdragon dan Processor 1 Ghz kenyataannya tidak cepat banget tuch. Penggunaan Snapdragon membuat handphone dan smartphone harganya menjadi selangit. Toshiba TG01 waktu keluar pertama kali berkisar Rp 9 jutaan. Sony Ericsson XPeria X10 berkisar Rp 7,5 juta. Lihat saja iPhone dan iPhone 3GS yang menggunakan Cortex A8 lebih smooth dibandingkan dengan handphone yang menggunakan Snapdragon. Begitu pula dengan Motorola Droid dan Motorola Milestone yang menggunakan Cortex A8 dan Processor 550 Mhz dibandingkan dengan handphone dan smartphone yang menggunakan Snapdragon dan Processor 1 Ghz tidak terlalu berbeda jauh kecepatannya; yang beda cukup jauh yaitu harganya.

Toshiba TG01 kan pakai WinMo bro dan lagian si Toshiba cuma gedein procie tp RAM biasa aja (256Mb)..

Mksd gw di Nexus Two kali ini kan, RAM udah yahud dan jika ditambah dgn procie SnapDragon ya bakalan nambah kinerjanya..

Snapdragon dan Processor 1 Ghz pada SE Xperia X10 tidak berbeda jauh kecepatannya dibandingkan Motorola Droid dan Motorola Milestone. Snapdragon udah teknologi kuno pada saat Motorola Nexus Two keluar. Kemungkinan Motorola Nexus Two akan menggunakan Cortex A9.

Motorola Shadow surfaces again, gets Wi-Fi Alliance certificate

Well, what have we here? It looks like the W-iFi Alliance certified a new Motorola smartphone today! The Motorola MB810 just popped up on the WFA site having received certification for IEEE Standard 802.11b/g/n. If the model number doesn't sound familiar to you, maybe the rumored name will ring a bell. Mid-January of this year a Motorola device with a full QWERTY slider keyboard popped up on the scene briefly, some were calling it the Motorola Shadow and others named it the Nexus Two.

In any case this could be the very same device, and after doing a little research all signs are pointing to the Shadow. Some of the rumored specs of the Shadow are as follows:

* 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen

* Full QWERTY slider keyboard

* 8MP Camera with autofocus

* microSD up to 32GB

* Android 2.2 (Froyo)

* Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (clearly)

* Bluetooth 2.1

It looks like the Shadow is a GSM device and will probably be headed to AT&T. The phone is rumored to be released in Q2 2010 which means you could be hearing a lot more about the Shadow soon and potentially have one in your hands by the end of the summer. We'll be keeping a close eye on this one, so keep checking the site for updates.
