nikmat nih seri2 hp baru SE..
vivaz = 4.75 dapet kamera 8MP + HD Recording..

klo ga salah dulu 5800XM pas keluar 6.3 juta kan? bandingkan dengan harga vivaz.

@ xenos621:

Weh, gak salah 5800 6 juta-an pas launch pertama??

Bukannya 4 jutaan jg ya?

gatau jg sih, pokoknya klo 1vs1 ma vivaz misalkan harga awalnya sama jg kalah kan?

Gw udah ngumpulin2 saingan-saingan buat Vivaz diharga 5jutaan, touchscreen only:
N97 dan N97 mini
Samsung Omnia II dan Jet
LG Crystal
Blackberry Storm2
SE Aino
Nah, saingannya berat2 loh, apalagi Omnia II dan Crystal, apakah Vivaz yang mengandalkan HD Recording bisa menang dari keypad transparannya LG Crystal dan AMOLED Samsung?

Sony Ericsson Satio and Vivaz finally get a music equalizer

The Sony Ericsson Satio (and recently the yet to be released Vivaz) both lack a nice modern convenience - a music equalizer. A team of SE developers have come up with a fix today - and it's a rather strange fix.

The equalizer controls have been released as a separate downloadable application from PlayNow.

The new Equalizer for Satio and Vivaz is a separate app - it does not integrate into the music player (you can't access it from the Options menu in the music player), so each time you want to change the equalizer setting you need to switch to the app.

The Equalizer is simple enough, it just lets you pick from the following options Off, Classical, Jazz, Dance, Party, Pop, Rock, Spoken Word, Loudness, Mega Bass and Treble Boost. And that's all there is to it. Unfortunately, there's no option to create a custom equalizer setting.

The setting will persist after you exit the app, or even after you restart the phone and it's a system wide thing - it works for all installed players, etc.

Here's a video of the Equalizer in action. Apparently, the video was shot with a Vivaz:

You can download the Equalizer from PlayNow (it's free) - look for it in the applications section of the music category. It needs the latest firmware to work on the Sony Ericsson Satio, but it will work with the release firmware of the Sony Ericsson Vivaz.

Equalizer Application for Satio and Vivaz

Finally an update on the question of Equalizer for Satio and Vivaz. As some of you might know one important feedback from you the readers of this blog has been that you want an equalizer in Satio and Vivaz. Since I got this feedback and saw your engagement in the issue I’ve worked quite a lot with trying to make that happen. As it turned out it unfortunately hasn’t been possible to add it in an integrated way in a software update. However some real hero colleagues of mine decided to try to build it as a separate application instead so I’m now delighted to at least offer a kind of solution for those of you that have been missing an equalizer.

For most markets there is now an free application called “Equalizer” available on PlayNow in the music category under applications. This equalizer will give you the following different options: Off, Classical, Jazz, Dance, Party, Pop, Rock, Spoken Word, Loudness, Mega Bass and Treble Boost. As I understood it it will equalize all music played in the phone, also the setting it makes is global and stay there if the Equalizer application is closed and also even stays after rebooting the phone. There are two important notes though: First of all this application needs the latest update to work on Satio (on Vivaz it works on the launch SW of course) and also since it’s a separate application it needs to be started separately when you want to start using it i.e. it’s not included under options in e.g. the music player. When an equalizer setting has been chosen it should stay even if the application is closed or the phone rebooted.

I’m well aware that it would have been even better to have a fully integrated equalizer and I’m sorry that we don’t have that. Still I hope that this solution will work for those of you that really feel that an equalizer has been missed a lot.

Here are some screenshots and a short video I shot to show you how it works. (Sorry for the shaky video – I didn’t have my tripod in the office today so I had to navigate the Satio with one hand while filming with a Vivaz with the other hand).

Kurang lebih sama bro, cuman lebih sudah dipermak sana dan sini. Pendek kata, lebih attraktif dr satio.

I think I'll give Vivaz a try... hope that SE will release UX-UI for Symbian soonest...

Tetapi sebelum beli Vivaz, tidak ada salahnya membaca review kan
