Sony Ericsson shows new Xperia™ Pureness at London brand event

September 3rd 2009 - Today at a business update meeting, Sony Ericsson showed the new Xperia™ Pureness, a simple design phone which brings together beautiful craftsmanship and the concept of “talk, text, time - a holiday from technology”. The Xperia™ Pureness will be officially launched in November 2009 through selected retail distribution channels in key cities around the world.

The handset was shown to media attending an event to launch Sony Ericsson’s new brand direction where the company also confirmed its alignment under the Sony make.believe brand message.

Xperia™ Pureness approaches the mobile phone as a work of art rather than technology. The company’s designers aimed to sculpt an object of design that reflected the purity of water and a sense of calmness when not in use.

More details on Xperia™ Pureness will be available when the phone launches in November 2009.

seri fashion line nokia (kayak Luna, dkk) aja yg jauh lebih bagus dari Kiki kurang laku,
apalagi Kiki....

Sony Ericsson Xperia Pureness priced and dated for UK launch
Guess how much for new designer handset with transparent display?

While we were just getting into the swing of Sony Ericsson's teaser campaign for its coming soon see-thru phone, the Xperia Pureness, a marketing news source has spilled the beans on the phone's planned UK debut.

It appears that Sony Ericsson is going straight to retailers for the debut of the new device, and will offer the handset through high-end shops, rather than through operators.

With a sales plan compared to Motorola's "Aura" handset, it's being reported the phone - with an unusual blocky design and a transparent display - will go on sale through Selfridges and design museum shops.

The price for the phone is said to be £530 and it's described as "a simple 'talk, text and time' phone targeted at the older affluent mobile user who wants basic functions", unlike the other models in the company's Xperia-branded range which are fully-featured smartphones.

The report sets the launch date for the device into the UK market as November, so well in time for Christmas lists. We will keep you posted.

Beda lah.
Keypad kayanya lebih sederhana teknologinya daripada layar.
Keypad hanya tempat meletakkan key-key sedangkan layar lebih kompleks, dia tempat interaksi semua kegiatan ponsel.

Layar transparan di jam meja mungkin jadi inspirasi Kiki tapi jam meja layarnya kan gak sekomplek ponsel tampilannya.

Next step dari Kiki adalah layar transparan berwarna. Tentunya akan lebih mudah bagi SE dibanding vendor lain toh?

gw kemarin nemu artikel bagus deh di kaskus, tentang concept art desain PS4.. baca deh

nah. sekarang gw minta kalian (kalian refers to people who bash Kiki)
untuk memikirkan. darimana teknologi layar yg ada di konsep itu bisa berasal.........

tindakan SE, untuk mengambil resiko memproduksi hp dengan inovasi teknologi yang baru
well, teknologinya mungkin ga benar2 *baru*, tapi kemampuan mereka untuk menerapkan dan menyempurnakan teknologi yang ada
seharusnya kita puji dan dukung. ok.

lima belas tahun yang lalu, teknologi LCD touchscreen seperti yang ada di hp2 umum sekarang mungkin baru bisa sebatas imajinasi, namun liat lah sekarang.
bukan tidak mungkin, beberapa tahun kedepan teknologi yg ada di fan concept PS4 tersebut bisa direalisasikan.

Heheh.. Iya juga sih.. Layar kiki lbh kompleks dr sekedar digit angka yg modulnya udah fix.. Mngkn ini jg yg bikin hrg kiki jd mahal selain kualitas material body/casing tentunya ya..

*paling ntar kalopun ada kloningan nya cuma sebatas niru designnya doang.. Haha
