Aino is the new Sony Ericsson multimedia phone from Entertainment Unlimited series. When you see Aino, The first time it looks more like a stick phone with large screen and without keys. But first impressions of this device are wrong. Aino is not a stick smartphone, it is a mobile phone, which has many interesting features like touchscreen. It’s the first time when we will see a touchscreen on a mobile phone from Sony Ericsson.

Probably, Aino is the final model name and with this name the phone will be launched to the market. Aino has 3.0″ 240×432 pixels TFT touchscreen, which supports up to 16,777,216 colors. Sony Ericsson Aino has only 55 MB of internal memory, but it supports SanDisk microSD™ cards. 8GB SanDisk microSD™ card will be included to the box of the phone. Aino has 8.1 megapixel camera with photo flash and without autofocus.

Sony Ericsson Aino has full PlayStation3 compatibility. The new Aino has a real Sony Style look and it is looking like a real PlayStation Portable device. Aino will be available in two nice colours: Obsidian Black and Luminous White. To the box of Aino will be included design-matched Charging Stand EC100 and Wireless Stereo Headphone MH100, which has the same colour variations like Aino. Sony Ericsson Aino and Wireless Stereo Headphone MH100 is a good tandem.

When the phone is closed it has a pretty nice size: 104 x 50 x 15.5 mm. The opened phone looks a bit wide, but it’s not a problem, because Aino has a touchscreen and you will not open the phone very often. Aino has weight 134 gram and that is normal for a slider phone. The most interesting info is, of course, the launch date of the new Aino. Sony Ericsson Aino will be released not earlier than October 2009.

Sony Ericsson Aino, Satio confirmed for October availability

In the UK, Sony Ericsson has issued a "save the date" press invite that reveals the retail launch timescale for two of its new handsets.

The invite, which has just hit Pocket-lint's inbox is said to be for an event: "To celebrate the retail launch of Sony Ericsson’s hotly anticipated Satio and Aino handsets".

The event is to take place on 7 October, which would suggest the new handsets will be available for consumers to buy on or around that date.

The Sony Ericsson Aino, with a 3-inch touchscreen, will be able to connect to the Sony PS3 as well as your PC. Other features include a 8.1 megapixel camera, and a GPS receiver.

The Satio (previously known as the Idou) will bring the Walkman and Cyber-shot brands together and come with a 12-megapixel camera on the back.

Slidingnya SE sudah oke kok.
Ini terbukti di F305 aku kok, sampai skerang masih ok.

@kiriyama: IMO, tp kan si Aino kl dibanding sm arena, UI nya msh okean arena, , mm, well tp bnr sih, hp berkiped.. tp apa bisa disejajarkan aino dg arena dg jet?

Dbanding jet ato arena, UI aino emang trlihat lbh simple.. Tp tetep keren kok.. IMO

Sebenarnya tergantung kebutuan saja sih, mau aino, jet atau arena. Buat apa fitur lengkap sana sini, toh yang dipakai cuman sms dan telep??

Kalau bagiku personal, untuk sementara, stop dulu dengan TS, apalagi full TS, susah ketiknya, kalau mau cepat.

Aino untung dibantu ada keypadnya,

iya, malahan bagusan SE ketimbang Nokiyem.

Contohnya E66, itu kan bisa disebut produk gagal, soalnya terkadang kalau sudah lama, terkadang sliding vertikal bukan yang horisontal bisa mengenai keypad sendiri.

Kalau SE slidingnya kalau diperhatikan, jarak antara bagian bawah dengan bagian sliding, sudah lumayan cukup jauh. Coba perhatikan Hikaru sama F305.

Oh yah, ada satu yang jadi ganjalanku. Aku juga belum pernah coba sama sekali. SE sebenarnya bisa nambah bahasa gak yah?

dulu ada temanku bilang bisa, katanya harus ke SESC, cuman pas sampai disana, kata org SESC harus diinstall dari awal lagi, makanya aku ngurungkan niatku.

Ada yang bisa ngasih saran?

harusnya seh bisa.di UIQ dah bisa tuh,tinggal donlod dari web nya SE pake pc suite(cmiiw).

SE A200 gak bisa nambah bahasa dengan cara "normal".

kalo mo nambah bahasa bisa lewat cara modding menggunakan tool a2uploader klo di hp A200, yaitu dengan memasukkan file bahasa ke folder tpa/preset/system/language di dalam FS dan modifikasi pada file customize.xml nya ..
