Back in February, Neowin cited Mary-Jo Foley predicting the Windows Mobile 6.5 roadmap. The Windows Mobile Team has announced the Windows Mobile 6.5 official launch date in a blog post as May 11, 2009.

"Stephanie Ferguson, GM of Business Experiences at Microsoft's Mobile Communications Business is going to deliver the kick off launch presentation of Windows Mobile 6.5 on Monday, May 11th at 1:00PM – 2:15PM. This TechEd 2009 session focuses on one of the biggest launches in the history of Windows Mobile"

The blog post though not stressing the Windows Mobile 6.5 launch date a lot, it focusses on the TechEd 2009 Windows Mobile sessions. The blog also says there are some 'great stuff' coming out during TechEd 2009.

One thing we might expect is Microsoft opening the Windows Mobile Marketplace for Windows Mobile, which will be pre-loaded by default in all of the Windows Mobile 6.5 devices. Even though Microsoft is launching Windows Mobile 6.5 early, Windows Mobile 6.5 devices will be available only during the end of Q3 2009 (September 2009).

Good to see Windows Mobile 6.5 nearing its completion. Bring on Windows Mobile 7!

Ya bro hajar aja, g udah pake sih tapi pake yang 7.0 kelebihannya memorynya saat baru install rom belom install program yang lain cuma 40% an, jauh lebih baik dari sebelumnya, terus start menunya seperti wm 6.5 ngak ky win 6.1 tapi harus masukin manual satu persatu (tapi kalo saya pribadi lebih suka yg classic, tinggal download aja cab di xda-developers ada kok). yang lainnya ngak beda jauh sama 5.61. Tapi overall bagus kok stabil. Apalagi kalo sekarang udah ada versi litenya mungkin pake itu bisa tambah kenceng lagi x1 nya.

akhirnya gw join disini juga, udah ngincer SEX1 dari pre release tapi baru bisa kesampaian sekarang, itu juga beli 2nd di PnP

Sekarang ini baru mo coba pake, contacts etc dari G700 udah gw backup ke Outlook, mudah mudahan bisa lancar pindahin semua.

Ntar ntar bakalan banyak nanya nanya sini yah, maap kalo ntar bakalan banyak pertanyaan bego dari gw, baru pertama kali pake WinMo soalnya, selama ini terbiasa ama UIQ

1st nubie question, program apa aja yang kira kira harus kudu musti wajib ada di SEX1 ?

Gw baca baca di sebelonnya, katanya Resco Explorer, Resco Contacts ?

Selain itu apa lagi yah ?

- Softreset: Tekan Power On/Off or pake stylus tekan lobang reset di belakang dkt baterei.
- Hardreset: (warning: semua setting, data & aplikasi 3rd party akan hilang)
* menu Start > Settings > System > ClearStorage

* Pd saat X1 dlm keadaan off, tekan Power dibarengi tekan kedua Left & Right Softkey smp keluar layar konfirmasi > tekan R

- QuickGPS fungsinya utk download or update data satelit ke X1 spy aplikasi GPS dpt menemukan lokasi kta lbh cepat.
- Pd saat kta memakai aplikasi spt Google Maps, tekan menu > "use GPS", GPS akan aktif. Kalo Garmin, GPS otomatis aktif begt aplikasi dibuka.

Rasanya kalo pake outlook, asalkan tertib fieldnya bakal lancar-lancar aja kok...

Resco Explorer, bagus juga, ada fungsi networknya...
Resco contacts, tampilannya lebih bagus, kalo ada foto contactnya tampilannya bakal lebih gedhe...
Mungkin PowerSMS perlu juga, powerful buat ngirim scheduled SMS (buat sms ultah)

Kalo untuk maintenance, bisa instal pocket mechanic atau sktools...
Kalo seneng chatting, bisa instal beejive...

Nah, yang istimewa nih, instal garmin mobile XT berikut panelnya... Dijamin gak bakalan nyesel punya X1 walopun 2nd, he he he...
