Motorola W755 Ready for Verizon - New entry-level Moto handset

Verizon Wireless, the second largest North American mobile carrier, will soon offer a new Motorola phone, and that is Motorola W755. The handset will be available in two color versions, black and purple, offering
both men and women the chance to own it.

Boy Genius Report is reporting (obviously) that the W755 will most probably be offered for free by Verizon – with a contract agreement for at least one year, of course. This makes a lot of sense, as the phone's features are the ones of an entry-level device, and entry-level devices are usually doomed to be given to users for 0 (zero) bucks.

Moto W755 comes in a clamshell form factor and it doesn't look too different from the previous Motorola clamshells. However, it doesn't have an ugly design, that' for sure. Among the known specs of the phone, we have CDMA/EV-DO dual-band connectivity, a 1.3 Megapixel camera with video recording, Music and Video players, stereo Bluetooth, email, USB, 80MB of internal memory and microSD card support. Also, the new Moto has dedicated music keys that seem to be touch-sensitive – these represent the handset's highlight. Another nice feature, unconfirmed though, is a built-in GPS receiver, which would make the phone be a little more than just an entry-level one.

W755's display size and resolution are not known, but we do know that the internal screen is around 2 or 2.2 inches, while the external one is way smaller. The battery included in the handset is also of unknown performances – they're not too great anyway.

There are no details about the exact release date of the new Motorola W755, but Verizon will probably make it available before the summer, so users who want a new-old Moto flip phone for few (or no) money don't have too much to wait.

Verizon Wireless branded Motorola V750

A few images have recently surfaced of the Verizon Wireless branded Motorola V750. The phone is your basic clamshell style, and retains the keyboard layout similar to the VU30.

Details and specs are limited, and we do mean limited. As of now we have just the pics, but as you can see, while it is a decent looking phone, its certainly nothing to shout about. No word yet on pricing or availability.
