Now that what I call a good-looking DMB Phone! The new Motorola M800 is the latest handset to hit the shores of Korea and totally lives up to its M logo! The M800 apart from its extremely chic and stylized look also impresses with its onboard DMB capabilities and its other multimedia functionality. The phone has a Music player and one can see the dedicated touch sensitive music controls on the top of the LCD.

Since it has DMB capabilities the MMS800 has a swiveling LCD giving the user more freedom. Other features include; 1GB of memory, a MicroSD port, a 1.3Mpix camera, support for GXG (3D games) among others. No word on pricing or availability but we will keep you updated for sure!

Beda banget antara Motorola MS800 dengan Motorola K1M.
Motorola MS Series merupakan produk yang dihasilkan oleh Motorola Korea; termasuk designnya, feature-feature lainnya dan hanya di jual di Korea (walaupun di China juga ada).
Sedangkan Motorola K1M merupakan produk yang dihasilkan oleh Motorola di luar Korea seperti Motorola United State / America.

Motorola MS900 / Motorola StarTac III

Announced today in Korea Motorola StarTac III comes with 2″ 240?20 px, 260K TFT QVGA screen, 128 MB of built-in memory, MP3 player, GPS, Mobile banking, Korean-English dictionary, e-book reader and biorhythm function.

Motorola MS900 has dimensions of 89?8.5?9.6 mm, weights 92g, has 160 minutes of talk and up to 300 hours of standby time.

However, it seems that Motorola may have gone too retro with StarTac III. First - they did not include camera in otherwise really cool package. Second, there’s no external screen to show the incoming call number, only 3 color LED line to indicate the type of incoming call.

It took about a decade for Motorola to repeat the success of original StarTac with RAZR. Let’s see how the new StarTaCIII will do.

Considering that Motorola has been yearning to duplicate the monumental success of the RAZR with, well, anything, we can't quite decide what to make of the firm's desperate / throw back attempt to conjure sales with an all new StarTac. Sure, the Moto mainstay holds a dear place in many of our hearts, and even the short-lived 2004 edition was appreciated for its nostalgic flair, but the 3.2-ounce StarTac III MS900 just seems a bit too vintage to actually enjoy in this millennium. Aside from such glaring omissions as a basic camera and external LCD, it does sport a very pocket-friendly design, simplistic style, MP3 playback, an electronic dictionary, questionable e-book functionality, GPS, and 128MB of built-in memory. Additionally, you'll find a two-inch QVGA display, mobile banking abilities, 160 minutes of talk time (300 hours in standby), and a mysterious "biorhythm" function to boot. As expected, there's no set price or release date for this blast from the past just yet, but with such niceties looming just around the corner, we've serious doubts about folks diving back into yesteryear with their new handsets.

oya ms600 apakah kayak seperti z6 gsm atau z6m?
dan ms series itu di indo bisa gak ya buat browsing internet, baik itu darihp langsung ataupun kalo kita jadikan modem lewat laptop.

Motorola MS600 beda banget sama Motorola Rizr Z3 atau Motorola Rizr Z6. Motorola MS600 lebih lebar dan lebih tipis; hampir selebar dan setipis Motorola V3 Razr pada saat di buka.

Motorola MS Series sama sekali beda sistim dengan Motorola CDMA lainnya. Masalahnya operator CDMA di Indonesia tidak mendukung features canggih yang ada pada Motorola MS Series. Motorola MS Series sementara belum bisa buat browsing internet ataupun dijadikan modem. Contohnya saja Motorola Q8 CDMA walaupun resmi keluar di Indonesia tapi harus di oprek supaya bisa internet.

Gue titip beli teman gue yang kerja di Korea Selatan tapi sekarang dia udah kagak kerja di Korea Selatan, sudah balik ke Indonesia; gue beli di Ebay Korea jadinya bukan "refurbished" tapi second jadi wajar kalo ada sedikit sekali goresan pada body karena gue koleksi maka sebisa mungkin cari yang masih agak mulus. Di Korea, tidak akan bisa di jual kalo handphone baru karena semuanya menggunakan sistim kontrak, sampai kontrak abis maka baru bisa di jual dan sangat ketat peraturan. Operator di sana tidak akan memberitahukan "ESN Number" karena termasuk rahasia negara Korea Selatan; kalo sampai ada operator yang beritahu maka orang tersebut akan di penjara. Maka dari itu stock gue cuma ada 1 unit masing-masing.

Teman gue yang di Indonesia bisa mendapatkan "ESN Number" setelah hampir setahun dia cari-cari caranya di internet dan dari berbagai sumber. Semua Motorola MS Series punya gue baru di coba inject Fren / Mobile 8; gue kagak tau apa bisa di inject operator lainnya.

Masing-masing Motorola MS Series gue kasih harga Rp 5.500.000,- (harga pas) udah berikut ongkos inject Fren / Mobile 8 tapi belum termasuk ongkos kirim. Yup... Memang bagi yang menganggap handphone CDMA sebagai second handphone maka harga segitu kemahalan. Tapi bagi kolektor, harga segitu tidak kemahalan karena berbagai pertimbangan.

Antara ESN Number dan inject ada sangkutpautnya. Sama seperti Motorola Q8 yang gue beli di Verizon USA yang belum bisa di inject sampai setahun, padahal ada "ESN Number".

Gue kagak ambil pusing dengan Flexy dan Esia sebagai 2 operator terbanyak usernya. Yang terpenting jaringannya kuat atau kagak. Gue udah cobain Flexy, Esia dan Fren; kenyataannya Flexy dan Esia paling jelek jaringannya dibandingkan Fren.

Selama ini gue coba inject Motorola MS800, baru di pakai untuk telpon saja. Feature yang lainnya belum.

Kabel datanya yang sebelah yang buat PC / Laptop berupa USB sedangkan untuk yang ke handphone bukan USB. Seperti biasa aja kalo buat connect ke komputer. Tentu saja baterainya berbeda dengan baterai Motorola type lain. Yup... Motorola MS800 yang paling keren.
